Indoor Footy Rules

RULES OF PLAY

Each side has (5) Five players on court (1 or 2 subs are permitted)

The game will consist of 4 eight (8) minute quarters.

Games will start on the game time scheduled

Captains must make sure the team has paid and  is ready to play at game time.

Games will start with or without teams on court.

 

PLAYER TOPS

Every team must have the same matching tops

T-Shirts, Football Guernseys or Bibs

3 weeks grace will be given to new teams

A 1 goal penalty for each non matching top will apply

 

FREE KICKS

All players must be aware that indoor football is strictly a  NON-CONTACT game and the rules are designed to keep the game fast,  free flowing and enjoyable for all involved Players safety is also paramount

No Bumping

No Pushing

No Tackling

No Shepherding

No Spitting

No Swearing

A free Kick and 15 metre penalty will be awarded against any player who makes deliberate contact on an opponent. Whether it is body on body or a slap of the hand to arms or wrists.

A free Kick will be awarded if a player has one or both knees on the ground when disposing of the ball the player must be standing on his feet.

A Free Kick will be awarded if the player deliberately kicks the ball of the ground

A Free Kick will be awarded if a player touches any part of the netting around the court at all times.

A play on Advantage Rule can be paid by the controlling umpire only if he/she decides that the team would be DISADVANTAGED by taking his kick over the mark.

15 metre penalties apply for any decision upon the umpires feel necessary. 30 or 50 meter penalties can also be awarded

ANY abusive language or swearing  will NOT be tolerated.

Free Kicks, 15 metre penalties & send offs can be used by the umpires at their discretion.

Disputing an Umpires decision

Time Wasting

Sledging or Harassment

Team Misconduct

Illegal Court entry  i.e.: spectators & interchange players

Tripping

Unsportsmanlike Behavior

 

Game Fee

All teams MUST pay the full amount owed for game fee BEFORE PLAY of $90

While there is no rego fee , All teams are required to pay a $90 bond to carry through the season.

IF YOUR TEAM FORFEITS ANY MATCH THEY WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY A  FEE OF $90 THE FOLLOWING WEEK OR A REPLENISHMENT OF YOUR $90 BOND.

Teams that are removed WILL NOT have bond returned.

Text messages are not acceptable for forfeits , A phone call to either the centre or Ange is compulsory.

The captain will be given a paid card in which he will hand to the umpire for the game to proceed.

 

Violence of any form will not be tolerated and the management reserves the right to ban players/teams from indoor football.

The Umpire calls the game as he sees it.

The umpires decision is final
